First time director, long-time actor and star of the TV show How I Met Your Mother, Josh Radnor stars in this film, acting as the anchor for three intertwining love stories. The stories were upbeat, modern, and very real to life, the dialogue mimicking conversations I swear I've had with my own friends, relatives, and girlfriend. Slightly reminiscent of 500 Days of Summer minus the downbeat struggles, the inconsequences, and unbelievability of the characters, happythankyoumoreplease has its share of small cliches and cheesy moments. The actors - every single one of them - carried their roles brilliantly, especially the 8 year old Michael Algiere. The cinematic qualities were nothing spectacular, and the film in general misses the mark for absolute movie genius, but for a really real, down to earth, uplifting, and humorous sampling of love stories in New York this movie is perfect.
In attendance: Director/Actor Josh Radnor and actors Malin Akerman, Tony Hale, Zoe Kazan, Michael Algiere, Pablo Schreiber, and Kate Mara
