I watched this on Halloween, and despite promises of never being able to listen to the Banjo the same way again, I was incredibly 'underwhelmed' by the actual level of fear and anxiety within the film. It demonstrated early use of 'day-for-night' cinematography, which was interesting to see, but compared to modern standards, was fairly primitive. A good movie overall, but not a scary movie, and not something I would excitedly recommend to others.
