A great 80s film about the start of WW3 and how it affects a group of high school kids. They made fantastic use of the filmmaking techniques of the time, but I just kept thinking to myself that it should be completely redone with the technology we have today. At times the film looked super big budget, and at times it looked totally shoe-string budget - don't know how to account for that. Despite other small issues with characters and plot, it was action-based, original, and made me think about what I would do in a situation like that.
