RECENT ADDITIONS:

FIRE IN THE SKY, 1993

In my attempt to find a truly scary movie, I was recommended this film by multiple people. Knowing that for me, alien films can be the scariest type, I was expecting a lot from this film, but was surprised by the alternate story it gave. It seemed to split halfway through the film - the first part being about the people that witnessed the abduction - becoming a commentary on close-knit community and how they react to an event like this, the second part being about the abductee - the real alien stuff. All in all, it had scary moments, but I thought was much more poignant as the study on the town culture. The real impact I'm left to think about is the authenticity of the account.
