A classic film that has served as an inspiration to countless other films. I don't know why it's taken me so long to see it... Clint Eastwood is absolutely amazing and the story follows a natural path to an exciting and satisfying ending. At times the music - a witness to the 70s - is a bit much, but being a revolutionary piece in the heyday of the Hollywood Renaissance, I guess it's acceptable. This was a true action film - before the huge explosions and outrageous sets, but the entertainment is there and I'm glad I watched it.
