RECENT ADDITIONS:

FOOD INC., 2008

This movie had great potential, and though it lived up to most of the hype, this is yet another reason I like to see movies right when they come out. Hype just kills most truthful assessment of any film. It seemed to have themes in the beginning (as far as technical coloring, graphics, etc.), but they trailed off partway through. And though I whole-heartedly support the segments on meat, they just dominated the film way too much. After all is said, however, I felt it was a truthful documentary with admirable purposes, technically sound, and in the end, provided some resolution and path for the viewers. That's really all that can be asked of a documentary.
